EDUSAT
is an educational website available in four languages (French,
Dutch, English and German) to discover and to learn about space
imaging.
By
providing a great number of images with full explanation to download
in full resolution, EDUSAT hopes to stimulate the interest in
remote sensing.
The
EDUSAT service was developed for the Belgian science policy by
the labo SURFACES at the Geomatic department of the University
of Liège.
Belgium
Here you will have the possibility to download
6 km x 6 km Spot images in full spatial resolution corresponding
to pixels size of 20 m on the ground. These images are coming from
the complete coverage of the kingdom realized in May 1992. A
list of 3624 localities gives a direct access to the desired area.
SPOT
(Resolution: panchromatic, 10m - multispectral,

Spot Demo collection offers an image gallery illustrating a range
of landscapes across the world.

the EDUSPOT collection offers 40 SPOT images in panchromatic (P)
or multispectral mode (XS) for the main European countries. All
images are 60 km x 60 km.
KOSMOS
(Resolution: 2m)
A KOSMOS image from Liège is available.
IKONOS
(Resolution: panchromatic, 1m - multispectral, 4m)
High resolution Ikonos images are available for Brussels, Ghent
and Liège.
